Introducing the
"LOUISIANA BICENTENNIAL"
Governors Edition

Martin releases this very exclusive "Louisiana Bicentennial" Governors Edition poster. Limited to only 50, these select pieces are created one at a time, as ordered, each covering its own particular governmental period in Louisiana history.

Martin commissioned a limited production run of his full-sized "Louisiana Bicentennial" poster, designed to accommodate special embossing and the unique remarque featured on each piece.

Each is signed in pencil with edition number, time period covered, and artist signature in center bottom. The poster is embossed on the lower left with a seal made for the edition. Martin's hand-drawn, ink remarque on the lower right of each poster relates to the time period covered.

A 2-ounce pure silver 1.75" medallion with select 24k gold-plating on the image of the fleur-de-lis was minted just for this Governors Edition. The medallion is inset in the center bottom of the matting.

Triple-matted and cut to highlight the design, the poster comes with Green Apple matting on top, and a double-matting of Molten Lava selected for the middle and bottom. All three mats have a black core. Martin calls the framing selection, "Rustic Elegance", a 2.5" wide brown and gold composite that ideally compliments the matting, medallion and poster. The overall size of the framed piece measures approximately 25" x 29". Alternate matting and framing is also available.

A special commemorative booklet accompanies each piece. Designed by Martin, the booklet provides information about the specific time period covered with a copy of the remarque printed on the title page. Drawing from 200 years of history, Martin selects tidbits to outline Louisiana's evolution into the state that it is today. Also included in the booklet is a signed and numbered certificate with an embossed gold foil stamp; a similar one comes attached to the back of the framed piece.

Each piece in this edition bears its own edition number, covers a specific governmental time period, includes a unique remarque by Martin, and features a specially designed commemorative booklet.
